Senior Assistant Manager (New Campus and Research Projects) Engineering, Project Management Contract
The Senior Assistant Manager is responsible to coordinate efforts for the planning and outfitting of laboratories in SIT’s new Punggol Campus as well as to support the administrative tasks related to the Division’s involvement in industry projects. SIT practises centralised laboratory management, where all laboratories are shared and centrally managed by the Professional Officers Division (POD). The Manager, Laboratory Safety supports Assistant Director, Laboratory Safety in driving a strong safety culture among laboratory users in SIT. The Manager works closely with Professional Officers and Technical Officers to ensure internal laboratory health, safety and environmental processes follow established safety and health regulations, policies, standards, and practices. The Manager will assist Assistant Director, Laboratory Safety in designing and embedding safety measures in laboratories, investigation of accidents and implementation of correction measures on existing facilities and practices to ensure a safe and secure laboratory environment for students and staff.
