We work with teaching programmes and innovation projects to improve the skills of our students and strengthen and energise our industry and the wider community. A Professional Officer has a combination of job responsibilities relating to the following: mentor and facilitate student learning, participate in and manage innovation projects and manage laboratory resources. For this role, your primary area of responsibility is to work on an exciting industry innovation project where you will be part of the team to develop a Virtual Reality (VR) based simulator system for training. You will be involved in programming of VR system in C# & C++ using public game engines and devices and will work closely with other members and the industry collaborators for the successful delivery of the project.

You will be involved in designing and creating 3D models, environment and animations using 3D modelling software (Maya, 3ds Max) and will work closely with other members and the industry collaborators for the successful delivery of the project.

Reporting to Director, Advancement & Alumni, this position will be responsible for creating and driving effective fundraising strategies, developing gift opportunities, managing a portfolio of prospective and existing donors, and building strong philanthropic relationships for SIT. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to match SIT’s mission and fundraising expectations. 2. Develop gift opportunities and create proposals that match the interest of possible donors (Businesses, Individuals and Community Leaders) with the needs of SIT. 3. Steward, maintain and strengthen and SIT’s relationships with its prospective and existing donors through active participation in: a. Timely and effective communication with donors and possible donors b. Strategically planned and organised appreciation and recognition events to continually engage donors 4. Work closely with senior university administrators and academics, obtaining their support while managing expectations and relationships. 5. Support Director, Advancement & Alumni, in managing the fundraising team and volunteers. Requirements 1. Degree from good University with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in higher education sector. 2. A self-starter who can operate with a high degree of independence 3. An excellent track record in fundraising, preferably in university advancement, and good networking with industries. 4. Requires strong analytical and marketing skills 5. A team player with good engagement skills, including listening, negotiating and presenting.
Technical Officer Chemical Engineering and Food Technology Contract
SIT is setting up a Shared Pilot Facility (SPF) for small batch production at the Food Hub @ Senoko to support innovation in the industry. The facility aims to accelerate the commercialisation of new products in the industry by allowing food manufacturers, especially start-ups and SMEs, to test the commercial viability of products after conceptualisation before making the leap to full-scale production. We are looking for a motivated individual to join SIT and support the SPF as the Technical officer. The incumbent shall be responsible for the administrative and technical support in the facility and report to the Centre Head who has overall responsibility for the SPF.

The role requires the individual to support daily operations of the division, which includes project management, student relationship development and partnership management. Learning Facilitator General Management Contract
The Learning Facilitator has the responsibility of developing students’ learning skills via both digital and face to face platform. He/she has administrative responsibility for the development of learning content and the maintenance and upkeep of an online student development programme.  He/she will help to gather and communicate information on students' learning experiences and record and analyse student's learning analytics data. He/she will also conduct some workshops to help students develop approaches to learning and improving learning traits and self-efficacy.
