Your broad knowledge in mechatronics, sensors, electronics, and communication will be instrumental in system integration of various mobile agents, sensors, conveyor belts, and robotic manipulators using various protocols (ZigBee, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G/5G, etc.) to achieve coordination, command, and control without deadlocks or circular waiting in a mathematically justified framework. Prior experience in setting up IoT and Industry 4.0 platforms will be an advantage.

Professional Officer (Robotics)

In this role, you will need to support both Rapid Centre (Robotics) and the new Robotic Systems Engineering programme. Within the Robotics Systems Engineering programme you are required to develop robotics prototypes through Systems Engineering. In terms of the project-based pedagogy deployed within the Robotics Systems Engineering programme, you are required to assist the team in the development of the project-based pedagogy, the curriculum, as well as the execution of the programme in terms of Mechatronics. Within the Rapid Centre (Robotics), you are required to support projects development and deliverables assigned to you by Rapid Project Leader. In this role, you will get the opportunity to both support projects where you are responsible for project development and deliverables and support our academic programmes. Within the programme support, you are required to develop robotics prototypes through Systems Engineering. Additionally, you are required to assist the team in the development of the project-based pedagogy, the curriculum, as well as the execution of the programme in terms of Mechatronics.
