Manager, Lab Safety

At SIT's Professional Officers Division (POD), we bring our rich industry experience and technical skills into the workplace to create a conducive environment where applied learning and innovation take place. Reporting to the Team Lead of Lab Safety, the incumbent will support the Division in maintaining an operationally safe and healthy environment for all lab users. POD currently manages 108 teaching laboratories. The incumbent will support the development of the Lab Safety culture within POD and amongst lab users as there is need to establish an effective Lab Safety & Health Management system. He/she will also support the Division in developing and implementing standards beyond regulatory compliances. In addition to the baseload of Lab Safety Officers, the incumbent would also be involved in developing lab safety training content for online learning as well as developing effective communication channels to engage staff in Safety & Health.

Assistant Manager, Office of SITizen Experience (Leadership Development)

As a specialist in naval architecture/hydrodynamist/structure engineer, the successful candidate will work on this cutting-edge projects related to coastal protection and develop a robust and effect floating breakwater system via design interaction that involves hydrodynamics, structural analysis, stability and fluid structure interaction.
