Coaching & Mentoring Trainer General Management Contract
We are looking for a Trainer who will prepare, execute and evaluate a coaching & mentoring programme that will be implemented as a compulsory training workshop to all academic staff in SIT. The incumbent should envisage success as being able to influence and inculcate into all academic staff the importance of developing their coaching & mentoring skills to boost students’ development and performance in their journey with SIT. Research Engineer (Unity Developer) - Project (TBL) Engineering, Infocomm Technology Contract
As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. The primary responsibility of this role is to work on an augmented reality (AR) enabled vocational training project, where you will be part of the team to programme the AR platform using C# and Unity 3D engine. You will work closely with other team members to gather and document requirements and turn them into detailed components. You will also be asked to revise, update and debug code to meet system requirements and provide technical support for system testing. In addition, you will also perform game design which will integrate with the augmented reality platform.
Research Engineer (Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering) - Project (DK) Engineering Contract

For this role, your primary area of responsibility is on industry innovation projects where you will be part of the team to develop a model and framework as a tool for ships to be able to analyse ship’s energy conversion system and to select suitable environmental technologies with the maximisation of energy conservation as the primary objective. The developed model will allow ship owners to plan for their operations to cope with energy cost and to comply with upcoming regulations in a sustainable way. The outcomes of the proposed project are the following: • tools for the analysis of ship’s energy conversion system, including propulsion system, diesel-generator sets, auxiliary systems, propeller element and ship longitudinal movement; • framework for ship owners to select and/or consider environmental technologies suitable for their ships and operations; and • a multiple-criteria framework for the selection of suitable energy conversion systems (including prime mover) on the basis of cost, environmental and safety consideration and its monitoring onboard ships.

Senior/Document Controller (Campus Development, Estates) Estates Management Contract, Permanent
The Senior/Document Controller (Campus Development, Estates), reports to Director, Estates and is responsible for accurate management and safeguarding of documentation generated by the project team, consultants and contractors in support of the day-to-day operations of the project and in a manner that will enable all relevant parties to quickly retrieve them. This includes, but is not limited to, control, access and maintenance of the Project Information Management System (PIMS), revision control, engineering documents/drawings and or the management / control of project deliverables documentation activities.
