Reporting to the Director, the successful incumbent will work with various divisions to develop business recovery and continuity plans to mitigate or reduce disruption impact to SIT. He/ She will work with the ERM team and stakeholders to ensure and enhance the resiliency of the organization. He/ She will work with stakeholders to maintain critical business operations during or after a business disruption by, among other things, executing on established business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop business continuity and resiliency strategies and plans through scenario planning exercises with stakeholders to mitigate the impact of disruptions to operations.
  • Define, implement, maintain and execute the organisation's business continuity and resiliency policies, frameworks, programmes and capability.
  • Manage the organisation's business continuity risk assessments and business impact analyses.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the identification, prioritisation and documentation of critical business functions through the Business Impact Analysis (BCA) process.
  • Perform continuous monitoring and evaluation of programme activities to identify areas of opportunity for improvement, cost reduction and enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Work with stakeholders in ensuring the adequacy of recovery and continuity plans of key service providers.
  • Plan, organise and conduct trainings and exercises for staffs, students and other stakeholders.
  • Provide internal consultative advisory services to divisions on all BCM matters.
  • Perform Secretariat duties for BCCM Committee.
  • Any other adhoc projects as and when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a recognised University degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in business resiliency/continuity or disaster recovery management.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting business impact analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience in scenario planning will be an added advantage.
