Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing, Data and Digital Experience (SMDDE)

The Senior Manager will lead the Strategic Marketing, Data and Digital Experience team for the Continuing Education and Training (CET) division for the University.



Provide Overall Leadership, Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Formulate a winning strategy and the annual work plan in alignment with the Divisional goals
  • Develop ideas, initiatives, project plans and deliverables to contribute to the Division’s output, outcomes and impact
  • Lead and support the team to execute the various goals under the work plan
  • Support strategic projects in building up the reputation and impact of the University and Division

Develop Strategic Marketing Initiatives to Drive Results

  • Implement integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • Collaborate with corporate communications and Academic Staff on content strategy and development to ensure a cohesive offline and online strategy
  • Generate leads, build client database and drive results
  • Develop, coordinate and execute overall online (web and new media) content development and ensure that online presence provides consistent, user-centric and engaging content
  • Conceptualise and execute events, online initiatives and/or campaigns
  • Conduct customer research, surveys and competitive intelligence

Manage and Mine Data for Insights

  • Develop and implement procedures for effective data management
  • Ensure Divison’s adherence to SIT’s data governance standards and regulations
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate performance of information and data systems to ensure that the systems meet the University’s and Division’s need
  • Analyse the data collected to derive insights for decision making

Enhance the Digital Experience and Support Digital Learning

  • Work closely with the university’s IT division on projects and initiatives related to continuing education marketing and marketing operations. This includes continual development of the unit’s website, CRM, and event management system
  • Develop and implement plans to drive digital learning initiatives
  • Enhance user / learner experience by leveraging on data and design thinking for continuous improvement



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; experience in online content strategy, in a design, marketing or public relations agency would be an advantage
  • Strong marketing analysis and communications skills; able to create compelling CET content for various types of interactive media and applications
  • Demonstrable expertise in digital marketing, data, digital learning, UX/UI.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation
  • Demonstrable knowledge of new MarTech trends and familiarity with latest online technology and development tools
  • Prior experience in working with Academic Staff, collaborating with corporate communications and IT functions, as well as a strong understanding of the CET / education industry would be advantageous
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Track record in B2B and database marketing.
  • Strong analytical ability, negotiations skills and good project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-driven, resourceful and committed individual
