The incumbent shall be responsible to coordinate, plan and implement the University’s sustainability strategy, policies and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sustainability priorities and establish goals/KPIs in consultation with management and stakeholders
- Oversee and monitor portfolio of sustainability initiatives/projects across the organization
- Drive alignment between sustainability targets and operating metrics
- Support divisions in driving and executing projects to achieve sustainability targets
- Provide sustainability advisory and secretariat support to workgroups on related topics and solutions
- Conduct regular stakeholder engagement meetings to ensure objectives are met
- Research Environment, Social & Governance (ESG)/sustainability trends and integrate recommendations into corporate objectives, plans, operations and reporting
- Develop and operationalize sustainability reporting, including data collection and analysis, drafting of plans and initiatives, etc in accordance to GreenGov.sg and other sustainability reporting requirements
- Coordinate sustainability outreach programmes
- Contribute to the development of training resources
- Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as required by Management in the course of work
Job Requirements
- Qualifications preferably in engineering, physics, economics or other related quantitative fields of studies
- At least 4 years of experience in areas related to corporate sustainability or similar scope (candidates with more relevant working experience may be considered for senior positions)
- Experience working within a matrix organization, working with internal stakeholders on sustainability (such as environmental improvements) with the ability to influence change
- Experience in reporting standards such as GRI Standards, ESG factors, ISO 14000, etc would be an advantage
