Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and negotiate contracts, such as Research Collaboration and IP licensing Agreements;
• Support proposals, budgetary requirements and cash flow projections for research projects and centres;
• Support prior art searches for inventions;
• Identify and engage industry partners for research collaborations and IP licensing;
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with industry partners; and
• Execute events and activities organized to foster industry collaborations.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in business development, managing research collaborations and handling legal agreements;
• Enjoy working closely with industry, academic staff and students in an Institute of Higher Learning;
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team;
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-moving environment;
• Possess strong analytical skills with an eye-for-details;
• Have good persuasive writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP), and a good degree in Science and Technology is an advantage.
