This role is responsible to manage Accounts Payable function with partial general ledger function.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Executives/Asst Manager in handling Accounts Payable (AP) functions
• Ensure that all invoices and payment requests are processed accurately for prompt payments to the right parties
• Ensure that feedbacks and queries on AP function are attended and resolved on a timely basis, including but not restricted to any under or overpayment and refunds
• Ensure that all AP related monthly, quarterly and year-end schedules, reconciliations and GST Reporting are prepared correctly, and reviewed promptly on a timely basis
• Ensure that the AP function is operating in an efficient and effective manner meeting the company’s objectives and key performance indicators
• Ensure that related systems, processes and standard operating procedures (SOP) are robust and updated timely
• Ensure good internal controls are in place and all payments are made in compliance with the corporate policies, accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements
• Responsible for following up on the abnormalities detected by Data Analytics for AP and report on findings from the investigation
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, bankers, other divisions and external vendors on payment related matters
• Involve in process reengineering, system implementation, digitalisation and other improvement projects
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Deputy Director (Finance) or Director (Finance)

Job Requirements:
• Degree in Accountancy with at least 7-10 years of relevant working and supervisory experience
• Good technical knowledge and capability to perform the accounting functions and updated with FRS changes
• Good internal controls and risk awareness
