As the Senior IT Consutant, you will be responsible to lead important projects and possesses capability to make breakthroughs in design, development, testing, debugging, and implementing software applications or specialised utility programs in support of end users' needs on platforms.

You plan and coordinate regular updates and recommend improvements to existing applications.  You can work in a team setting and is proficient in programming languages required by the organisation. You should be familiar with software development tools and standards, as well as the relevant software platforms on which the solution is deployed on. You can engage and support others in the team, readily put forth ideas in a clear and compelling manner.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions. Reporting direct to the Lead IT Consultant, you are responsible to complete the assigned projects and tasks independently with minimum supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform planning, organisation, monitoring and control of all aspects of an IT programme and the strategic utilisation of resources to achieve the objectives within the agreed timelines, costs, and performance expectations. In addition, the identification, coordination, and management of project interdependencies, ensuring alignment with and achievement of business objectives.
  • Manage vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects by fulfilling all requirements and within budget independently.
  • Responsible for preparation of relevant procurement documents such as Invitation to Quote (ITQ) and /or Requests for Proposals (RFP), and assess them against selection criteria and technical specifications, implementing security due diligence review in the vendor selection process when required.
  • Responsible for all stages of Application Development from Design, develop, and implement web and mobile applications using the approved technologies and platform while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with the team to ensure application functionalities are meeting the project requirements.
  • Responsible for the operation, support, and maintenance of specific software applications, which may be built in-house or third-party software.  

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of project management experience. Certifications in PMP or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experienced in both SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC 4/5, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, XML, system configuration, web services.
  • Knowledge and experience in IIS Server, Visual Studio 2016/2019 and MS SQL Server T-SQL.
  • Relevant experience in OutSystems, .NET Core, CRM products such as Microsoft Dynamics and/or Salesforce, Data Analytics Tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik and/or Tableau, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or RPA UiPath will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to identify issues and provide efficient and effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, share knowledge, and mentor junior team members.
