The Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the Health and Social Sciences (HSS) Cluster under the Academic Programmes Administration Division. He/She will provide administrative support to the Cluster and Division in the areas listed below.

• Coordinate the operations of the Cluster’s degree programmes, in the areas of timetabling and enrolment of modules, appointment of external instructors, examination support, clinical placement education and applied research;
• Manage the administrative procedures and processes in the areas mentioned above;
• Be a liaison point and provide support to faculty members, students and external stakeholders;
• Participate in the review and improvement of academic work processes and systems in line with the Cluster’s and Division’s strategic and operating plans, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative support;
• Manage and monitor operational budget, expenditure and assets;
• Draft reports and papers for submission internally and/or to government agencies, as and when required;
• Serve as secretariat for meetings convened at Cluster/Programme/Committee level;
• Plan and organise programme accreditation;
• Other Division/Cluster/Programme support assignments as and when required.
