The Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the Infocomm Technology (ICT) team within the Academic Programmes Administration Division. He/She will provide administrative support in the areas listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the operations of programmes and modules.
- Plan, manage and monitor budgets, expenditure and assets.
- Administer and coordinate timetabling / scheduling of classes, as well as assist in booking of facilities.
- Assist in collation and submission of results, and preparation of reports and presentations.
- Administer procurement processes.
- Organise and manage assessments and events such as briefings, meetings, talks, workshops and dialogue sessions.
- Assist in recruitment processes and publicity support, inclusive of content and materials collation.
- Provide administrative and secretariat support for meetings including minutes-writing.
- Provide guidance and support to students on admission applications, matriculation, module registration, exemptions, examinations, withdrawals, leave of absence, financial assistance, and other administrative procedures.
- Work closely with counterparts across programmes and divisions.
- Support accreditation matters for related programmes.
- Handle general feedback from students and public.
- Research and analyse for various programme performance indicators to support the roll-out and operational effectiveness of programmes.
- Review and improve work processes.
- Other programme support assignments as required by Cluster, Programme or Head of Division.
Requirements:
- A degree from a recognized Institute of Higher Learning, or extensive skills or experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferably with experience in a similar position/educational environment, with exposure to systems and operational work.
- Meticulous and analytical in information gathering and resource support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
- Good written and communication skills.
- A highly motivated individual and a good team player.
- Adaptive, with good monitoring skills and able to perform independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with automation tools, Systems Thinking and Lean Transformation models would be an advantage.
