The Centre for Digital Enablement (CoDE) drives digital transformation initiatives within SIT. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, CoDE enhances digital literacy and supports digital innovation across the campus. This includes applied learning initiatives, such as the Living Lab, SEED Digital, Digital Competency Corridor, and VR Classroom.
The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Cloud & Software Development) will support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of SIT’s cloud-based environments for CoDE’s products. The role involves assisting with AWS setup, deployment processes, and software development for CoDE’s data and integration platforms—specifically the Data Source Gateway (DSG) and HITS, ensuring stable, secure, and well-documented systems.

Key Responsibilities
A. Cloud Platform Support
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Cloud environments on AWS for CoDE platforms (LLOS, HITS, Virtual Campus)
- Configure and monitor key AWS services such as S3, IAM, and CloudWatch to support system reliability and governance
- Document configurations, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational continuity.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align deployment processes and manage access control across sytems
- Support the Product Owner in administering cloud environments, including security policies, role-based access, and resource tagging
B. Software Development
- Develop and maintain the Data Source Gateway, which enables integration and data exchange between LLOS and other systems
- Implement data ingestion workflows and API integrations using technologies such as Node.js Python, MQTT, and REST APIs
- Enhance and maintain HITS front-end modules and dashboards using JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue)
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring system stability and interoperability across platforms
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and development team on feature planning, testing, and release documentation
- Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting for new and existing modules
C. Operational and Educational Support
- Support CoDE’s digital learning initiatives under DiCE, including SEED Digital, Digital Competency Corridor, and VR Classroom.
- Provide assistance to users and internal stakeholders for issue resolution and feedback collection.
- Maintain operational and technical documentation, including SOPs and workflow guides.
- Participate in demonstrations, showcases, or learning activities that feature CoDE’s digital systems, such as SEED Digital or Digital Competency Corridor.
Job Requirement
Technical Skills
- Foundational understanding of AWS Cloud Services (S3, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch) or similar cloud environments.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and front-end frameworks such as React or Vue
- Familiarity with MQTT, REST API, and data pipeline concepts is advantageous
- Exposure to Python, SQL, or API integration concepts is advantageous

Qualifications
