The Manager / Senior Manager reports to the Project Director and is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the development and management of building services for SIT's campuses, buildings and facilities.
Key Responsbilities
- Work closely with stakeholders and consultants on design specifications, space planning, project schedules, and budgets
- Develop project briefs, manage workplace enhancement initiativies, and ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget and timeline
- Manage the tender process, including tender evaluation and contract awards
- Monitor construction and fit-out works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with statutory regulations
- Conduct regular quality inspections, manage defect rectification, and oversee project handover
- Manage execution of direct contracts
- Coordinate and support stakeholders during move into completed premises
- Prepare progress updates and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery
Job Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in design consultancy and project management in local building consultancy firms
- Good knowledge of Singapore's building development processes, regulations, and statutory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Experience or knowledge of building services systems will be an advantage
- Srong project management, stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills
