The Manager / Senior Manager (Campus Development) reports to the Project Director and is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the development and management of SIT’s campuses, buildings and facilities. 

 

Key Responsbilities

  • Work with stakeholders to plan and review space programme for the development of campus, buildings and facilities to support SIT academic, administrative and student activities
  • Manage communication and expectation across stakeholders, including consultants, contractors and end users
  • Manage the master space plan and space audit
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including consultants on design specification, space programme, cost and work schedule
  • Develop project briefs/schedules, manages, reviews and implements workplace changes, monitor quality, cost and datelines
  • Manage the tender calling, evaluation and award of contracts
  • Oversee consultants liaisons on all necessary compliance with building regulations and authority approvals including fire, safety and health matters
  • Monitor and report the progress of construction works
  • Carry out regular quality checks on the construction works during the construction period and works with the internal and external stakeholders on the building defect lists prior to handover of SIT Buildings
  • Manage execution of direct contracts; and co-ordinates with the stakeholders on the schedule to move into SIT Buildings

 

Job Requirements 

  • Degree in Engineering, Building, Estates or Architecture 
  • Good knowledge of building development, maintenance regulations, laws and procedures with at least 5 years’ experience in a building project management
  • Technically competent in various software programmes such as Microsoft Project and Computer Aided Design programmes.
  • Strong in organisational, administrative skills, interpersonal and communication skills
