Reporting to the Assistant Director (Stewardship), the Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager will support the Division’s efforts in fostering and sustaining strong relationships between Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and its donors.

 

Stewardship is a key pillar of the University’s advancement efforts, ensuring that donors remain meaningfully engaged and appropriately recognised for their contributions towards SIT’s mission.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of stewardship initiatives and donor recognition events, providing donors with meaningful opportunities to engage with the University’s leadership, faculty, students and fellow supporters.
  • Manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders on matters relating to student financial aid supported by donor funds.
  • Support the renewal of philanthropic gifts and contributions through proactive relationship building and engagement with donors.
  • Assist in the preparation of stewardship and impact reports that communicate the transformative outcomes of philanthropy.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with donors and prospective donors through appreciation letters and donor engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee project timelines, documentation, and administrative processes related to stewardship activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in donor engagement efforts, contributing to an effective and coordinated approach to donor relations.

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in donor relations, communications, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise and impactful messages for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the education or non-profit sector will be an advantage.
