As SIT’s lifelong learning champion, SITLEARN offers stackable and standalone Continuous Education and Training (CET) courses to working adults of all ages who are keen to upskill or reskill to gain new skills and knowledge that can be applied in their current workplace, or into a new industry that they aspire to transit towards. Our existing Training Management System (TMS) manages learners' registration of CET courses. As we expand our CET offerings, we aim to further digitise/automate our operations and enhance our system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Management System (TMS) Support and Enhancement
  • To assist in the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of SITLEARN TMS, ensuring system functionality aligns with business and operational requirements.
  • To work with the TMS vendor and CIT to troubleshoot, track, and resolve system issues efficiently.
  • To contribute to the analysis and refinement of TMS user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), with a focus on improving usability for both learners and internal staff.
  • To support the integration of the TMS with external systems such as SSG’s Training Partners Gateway, ensuring data synchronization and regulatory compliance.
  • To work with cross-functional teams to define needs, translate business requirements into requirements, and ensure successful implementation of the enhancements to the TMS.
  • To support system-related changes, ensuring all change requests are justified for implementation, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and documentation of test plan and test results.
  • To work with CIT and vendor to resolve TMS performance issues and recommending improvements or enhancements as needed.

 

  1.  Process Automation and Technology Enablement
  • To participate in the planning and implementation of automation initiatives such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), digital certificates, and smart forms to improve process efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
  • To assist in rolling out new digital capabilities such as the issuance of tamper-proof digital certificates through the OPENCERT platform.
  • To conduct research and testing of new tools, platforms, or digital solutions that can optimise workflows and operational performance.

 

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • To collaborate with internal branches such as Programme Management, Marketing & Insights, Grant Services, and Business Development to understand process pain points and identify areas for digital support.
  • To liaise with external stakeholders including system vendors and government agencies, including SSG, to support system updates, reporting needs, and technical clarifications.

 

  1. Administrative and Operational Support
  • To provide administrative assistance in system and project matters such as scheduling, user communications, documentation, and user training coordination.
  • To perform data entry, records maintenance, and routine checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of information within the CET+ system.
  • To support ad hoc assignments, audits, and operational reviews as delegated by reporting managers or group heads.

 

Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related subject area.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role or supporting business IT systems is preferred.
  • Participated in digital transformation projects as a business user, providing requirements and analysis through a UX mindset, working with IT vendors, and testing of final product or services.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for digital innovation and drive the implementation of digital solutions.
  • Good analytical, conceptualisation, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to assess the impact of digital initiatives and optimise processes.
  • Good understanding of digital technologies and their application in business processes is a plus.
  • Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good team player with a driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy, and demanding environment while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • A passion for enhancing user experience and improving productivity through digital solutions.
  • Experience with technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), digital certification platforms like OpenCerts, and other tools (UiPath, MS PowerBI, MS PowerAutomate, MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics and Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile Project Methodology and experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and executing process improvement projects is a plus.
