Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager, Academic Programmes Administration (BCD)

The Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager, will be part of the Business, Communication and Design Cluster (BCD) under the Academic Programmes Administration Division. This role will be stationed at SIT@Punggol. He/She will provide administrative support in the areas listed below.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the operations of BCD programmes and modules.
  • Administer and coordinate timetabling / scheduling of classes, as well as assist in booking of facilities.
  • Assist in student enrolment and module registration.
  • Assist in procuring materials required for the modules.
  • Manage and monitor programme budgets, expenditures and assets.
  • Organise and manage events such as talks, workshops and meetings.
  • Assist in preparation of exam reports and slides.
  • Provide administrative and secretariat support for meetings including minutes-writing.
  • Work closely with counterparts across all programmes.
  • Other assignments as required by the Module Leads, Director of Programme, Programme Leader, Reporting Officer or Director, Academic Programmes Administration.

 

Requirements:

  • A Degree from a recognised Institute of Higher Learning.
  • Preferably with experience in a similar position/education environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Familiarity with automation tools, Systems Thinking and Lean Transformation models would be an advantage.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A highly motivated individual and a good team player.
