FACULTY OPENINGS AT THE SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

The Centre for Professional Communication (CPC) equips all SIT students with critical communication skills that are essential for academic and professional success.

We currently have positions available from Lecturer to Associate Professor. 

Successful candidates will join the Centre as members of a team of accomplished experts who are passionate about incorporating critical thinking in the teaching of academic and professional communication skills that are transferable to the workplace and vital for professional success. Successful candidates will also be actively involved in embedding the teaching of specific academic writing, speaking and workplace communication skills in content modules across academic years and undergraduate programmes in different disciplines. CPC faculty are expected to develop and update curriculum through applied research in communication in the disciplines. They are also provided with paid leave to undertake consultancy work with industry and/or conduct courses for in-employment learners.

We seek collegiate and team-spirited candidates who have corporate people management experience with thought leadership in professional communication and/or corporate training experience in professional communication. Candidates should possess at least a Master’s degree or an earned PhD or equivalent from a reputable university with specialisation related to academic and/or professional communication.
