The Manager, Global Experience Division will manage the new initiative, Singapore University Student Exchange Programme, initiated by the Ministry of Education. He/she will also support the Food, Chemical and Biotechnology Cluster and assume a wider portfolio to include soliciting, negotiating contracts and presenting at C-Suite level SIT’s overseas immersion and student mobility programmes. This role involves strengthening SIT's international brand presence through effective diplomacy and collaboration with overseas universities, embassies and consulates as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The candidate will also lead the marketing campaign in order to enhance the overall visibility of SIT’s global learning initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the promotion and execution of overseas immersion and student mobility programmes, ensuring alignment with SIT's strategic objectives.
  • Welcome and engage external guests visiting SIT, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the institution's offerings and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance SIT's brand recognition internationally, including creating content that showcases global learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Global Relations team to identify potential university and organizational partners to expand SIT’s global network.
  • Prepare promotional materials and presentations for stakeholders, effectively communicating SIT's global initiatives to various audiences.
  • Draft budget and cost projections in order to execute the overseas immersion and student mobility programmes effectively, by ensuring alignment with SIT's strategic objectives.
  • Prepare financial statements to ensure that each of the reports clear both internal and external auditors.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Communications, Chinese Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in international relations or student global mobility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and another second language; proficiency in a foreign language (Chinese) is an advantage.
  • Experience in social media management and digital marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audience.
