Job Summary

The Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing resources as well as support the administrative needs in the Professional Officers Division. In this role, the Manager will have the opportunity to work closely with Professional Officers to contribute to the goals of the division.     

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as part of the Administration Team to support the division’s activities and meet the division’s administrative needs
  • Develop the framework and structure for the division’s information management portal and drive information management initiatives within the division 
  • Contribute and assist Director POD in planning and review of the division’s workplan and generate management reports and papers
  • Work with Professional Officers to develop, roll-out and maintain the manpower resource allocation system for the division
  • Strengthen procurement support in the Division through process enhancements and deployment of resources
  • Prepare and monitor division budget and utilization, and help ensure utilization is aligned with the division’s goals and forecasts; establish monthly budget reporting mechanism to facilitate management reporting
  • Monitor utilization rates for laboratories for all SIT campuses and prepare lab utilization reports for management reporting
  • Carry out ad-hoc projects as assigned by Director POD

Job Requirements

  • University Degree with at least 8 years of work experience in a similar education/corporate environment
  • Have work experience in project resource planning, consolidation and co-ordination
  • Have experience in writing management papers and reports
  • Have strong project management skills and attention to detail, and willing to take on responsibilities
  • Have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community and possess the confidence to front different parties
  • Ability to work as a team member among multiple stakeholders
