This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of university-level engagement activities, including high-profile events and visits by political office holders. It involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including the Office of SITizen, Registrar Office and SITizen Ambassadors, to ensure event objectives are successfully achieved.
The position also oversees brand governance and the implementation of campus-wide branding initiatives—particularly for the new campus—ensuring all branding activities and spaces are well-managed, creatively executed, and aligned with SIT’s mission and reputation. This includes the procurement and distribution of corporate gifts, which contribute to consistent and impactful brand representation across platforms and events.
1. Brand Governance:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of brand guidelines across all internal and external communications.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with brand standards and resolve branding discrepancies as they arise.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to staff on correct usage of SIT logo brand elements and assets.
- Support the management of brand asset libraries and ensure resources are updated.
2. Engagement Events:
- Collaborate closely with various divisions and departments to plan, organize, and execute high-profile university-level events, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment with organizational objectives. This includes managing protocol arrangements, developing detailed event agendas, overseeing logistics, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication for events involving political officeholders, international dignitaries, and other distinguished guests
- Facilitate SIT's involvement in internal and external events, including annual convocation ceremonies in collaboration with the Registrar’s Office.
- Work closely with Office of SITizen division and SITizen Ambassadors to successfully deliver event objectives.
3. New Campus Branding:
- Conceptualize and develop creative branding strategies, elevating the design and execution of on-ground advertising and branding installations to enhance brand visibility, audience engagement, and alignment with SIT’s mission and vision.
- Manage and maintain ownership of on-ground campus branding spaces (e.g. pillar wraps, digital banners, escalator decals), strategically tailoring visual branding experiences to resonate effectively with diverse learner groups and campus communities.
- Act as the primary gatekeeper for all campus branding installations, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines, Estates & safety policies, quality standards, timelines, and administrative procedures.
4. Administration and Other Duties:
- Manage the procurement and inventory of corporate gifts and branding materials.
- Assist in other projects and administrative duties, as and when required.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, events management or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organisational and project management capabilities, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Outgoing and meticulous, with good data analytic and budget management skills.
- Proficiency in design and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar software will be an advantage.
Relevant experience in an Institute of Higher Learning or public sector/government agencies will be an added advantage
