The project is in collaboration with two local hospitals.
Under this job title, you will carry out numerical simulations to precisely characterize the evaporation, dispersion, and deposition patterns of the virus-laden respiratory droplets expelled from an infected individual via breathing, talking, singing, coughing, or sneezing. The effects of air ventilation strategies, ambient environment, face coverings and viral load on the transmission and deposition of the pathogens will be investigated, and their impacts on the infection probability of an exposed person will be quantified.
