Assistant Manager (Sourcing, Procurement and Central Store Operation) General Management, Procurement Contract

The Assistant Manager reports to the Professional Officers Division, and is responsible for procurement activities in support of lab operational needs and student projects. He or she is also required to manage the Division’s Central Store operations.
Manager, Laboratory Safety Safety and Health Contract
Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore’s university of applied learning. SIT offers applied degree programmes which are grouped into five clusters – Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Food Technology, Infocomm Technology, Health and Social Sciences, as well as Design and Specialised Businesses. SIT practices centralised laboratory management, where all laboratories are shared and centrally managed by the Professional Officers Division (POD). The Laboratory Safety Officer supports Director, Professional Officers Division (POD), to set up and drive a strong safety culture in POD. The Officer partners with Professional Officers and Technical Officers to establish appropriate safety and loss prevention measures of laboratories in SIT. This includes designing and embedding safety measures during the setup and operation of laboratories, implementing correction measures on existing facilities and acting as a safety technical advisor, providing expert safety consultation and oversight to ensure compliance with S&H requirements. The position is also responsible for providing accident prevention and investigation as part of ensuring a safe, secure and healthful lab environment for all students and staff.
Assistant Manager (Class Timetabling) General Management Contract
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible to coordinate with the relevant stakeholders to plan and publish the student class timetable, and to formulate policies and procedures for class timetabling.

The Senior Manager/Manager, Admissions (Policy & Operations), is responsible for leading a team in effectively managing the Admissions operations required to support the Division's key task of recruiting qualified applicants for admissions to the Singapore Institute of Technology in accordance with both SIT as well as Overseas University Partners' admissions standards. He/she is responsible for managing the annual SIT admissions exercise to achieve application and matriculation targets. He/she will be expected to play a key operational role, which includes running the annual Admissions exercise and also managing the Student Information System. This position also contributes to supporting all of the Division's focus areas, including recruitment and outreach, financial assistance and scholarships. The Senior Manager/Manager, Admissions (Policy & Operations) reports to the Head, Admissions Policy & Operations, with accountability also to Director, Admissions.
